How quickly can I expect to see progress?

Do you offer classes for complete beginners?

Absolutely. We have dedicated starter groups that meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30pm, plus Saturday mornings at 10am. These classes move at a comfortable pace and focus on building a solid foundation in pronunciation, basic grammar, and everyday conversation. Our tutors use visual aids and real-life scenarios to make learning accessible even if you've never studied English before.

Can I switch between online and in-person classes?

Yes, the Professional and Executive packages include this flexibility. Just give us 24 hours notice before your scheduled class. Many of our students attend in-person sessions when they're in Manchester and switch to online when traveling for work. Your progress and curriculum stay consistent regardless of format, and you'll have the same tutor throughout.

What happens if I miss a lesson?

Life happens, we understand. Cancel with 48 hours notice and we'll reschedule your lesson at no charge. Late cancellations (under 48 hours) use one of your monthly sessions, though we do allow two emergency cancellations per term for unexpected situations. For extended absences due to illness or travel, we can pause your package for up to 4 weeks per year.

Are your tutors actual native speakers?

Every tutor on our team is a native English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or Ireland. Beyond that, they all hold CELTA or TEFL certification with minimum 3 years teaching experience. We specifically recruit tutors who've worked in professional environments before teaching, so they understand the practical language needs of our business students and can share cultural insights from their industries.

Do you help with specific English exams like IELTS?

Exam preparation is one of our specialties. We offer dedicated IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge FCE/CAE, and PTE coaching. Our tutors know these tests inside and out - they're familiar with examiner expectations, scoring criteria, and common pitfalls.
